योगेन्द्रमिलन छन्त्याल, २५ मे, लिस्बन । नेपाली भूमि कालापानी, लिपुलेक र लिम्पियाधुरा क्षेत्रमा भारतले गरेको अतिक्रमणको विरोध गर्दै आज पोर्तुगलमा रहेका नेपालीहरुले भारतीय प्रधानमन्त्री नरेन्द्र मोदीलाई ज्ञापन पत्र पठाएका छन् । लिस्बनको अलमेदा पार्कमा भेला भएका २५ वटा नेपाली संघ संस्थाका अध्यक्ष एवं प्रमुखहरुको हस्ताक्षरसहित ज्ञापन पत्र भारतीय प्रधानमन्त्री मोदीलाई पठाइएको हो ।
ज्ञापन पत्रमा कालापानीमा रहेको सेना फिर्ता गर्न र दुई देशबीच भएका ऐतिहासिक सम्झौताहरुमुताबिक नेपाली भूमि फिर्ता गर्न जोडदार माग राखिएको छ । लिपुलेक हुँदै कैलाश मानसरोवरको लिङ्क सडकको निर्माण र उद्घाटनको गतिविधिप्रति पोर्तुगलस्थित विभिन्न संघ संगठनहरुकोतर्फबाट गम्भीर चिन्ता र विरोध प्रकट गरिएको हो ।
‘नमस्ते नेपाली डट कम्’ मा तपाईको व्यवसाय वा संघ संस्थाको प्रवर्द्धन र प्रचार प्रसार गरेर व्यवसायिक लाभ लिनुहोस् :
लिस्बनस्थित भारतीय दूतावासमार्फत पठाईएको ज्ञापन पत्रमा गैरआवासीय नेपाली संघ पोर्तुगलका अध्यक्ष तिलक गैरे, प्रवासी नेपाली एकता मञ्च पोर्तुगलका अध्यक्ष गोविन्द पौडेल, नेपाली जनसम्पर्क समिति पोर्तुगलका कार्यवाहक अध्यक्ष नविन आचार्य, नेपाली समाज पोर्तुगलका अध्यक्ष सोमफुरी शेर्पा, नेपाली जनप्रगतिशिल मोर्चा पोर्तुगलका अध्यक्ष पूर्णबहादुर विश्वकर्मा, नेपाली एकता समाज पोर्तुगलका अध्यक्ष गोमनाथ सुवेदीलगायतका संघसंस्थाले हस्ताक्षर गरेका छन् ।
ज्ञापन पत्रमा उत्पीडित जातीय समाज, नारी समाज, महिला समाज, अनेसास, मगर समाज, शेर्पा किदुक, किराँत याक्थुङ चुम्लुङ, तामाङ समाज र किराँत राई समाजले पनि हस्ताक्षर गरेका छन् । यसैगरी चितवन समाज, स्याङ्जा समाज, बागलुङ समाज, झापाली समाज, गुल्मी समाज, कास्की समाज, तनहुँँ समाज, पर्वत समाज र मदन स्पोर्टस एकेडेमीले पनि पत्रमा दस्तखत गरेका छन् ।

Subject: Protest Against Indian Government’s Provocative Activities within the Sovereign Lands of Nepal
Excellency,
On behalf of the Nepalese people residing in Portugal, we would like to express our serious concern and protest against the construction and inauguration of a link road to Kailash Mansarovar via Lipulek which passes through Nepali territory by the Government of India.
This provocative action follows the unilateral publication of a revised territorial map by the Indian Government in November 2019, which wrongly portrays Nepali sovereign territories Kalapani, Lipulekh, and Limpiyadhura as parts of India. Historical documents pertinent to the borders between India and Nepal in this region (such as the Sugauli Treaty, 1816) are abundantly clear that all lands from the East of Mahakali river belong to Nepal.
We are fully aware that there have been some disputed regions at the Nepal-India borders for more than a century. Instead of first resolving those border issues through high-level diplomatic dialogues between the Foreign Ministries of two countries, the Indian Government has now escalated the situation by inaugurating a road that, according to the historical documents goes through Nepali territory.
The hegemonic activities of our closest neighbor within Nepali territory is not tolerable to Nepalese People. As Nepal has always pursued the policy of cordial friendship with India, such a unilateral Indian move will be considered as an expansionist act by the Nepalese people.
So, we strongly condemn the act of encroachment of Nepalese territory from your side, demand to take back of your security forces immediately from the area and respect the border as per the historical agreements between two countries.
